Please read important information prior to booking .


When booking a experience / Hawk walk you agree to the terms below:


Booking Information

To secure your preferred date and time, we require Full payment at the time of booking.

Dates can not be held without payment.

We allow for one spectator free of charge to accompany each booking as an observer. This allows clients to share their experience with a loved one/friend and the opportunity to take photos during the experiences.

Additional spectators are welcome and can pay an added fee of £20 per person on the day.

Please be prompt as we do have a schedule and your experience is within an allotted time. Late arrivals may result in shortened booking time. No refund will be given if you are late or do not attend on your scheduled day and time.

Age Restrictions

The minimum age for handling birds of prey is 7 years old. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian aged 18 or over. Children must be calm and quiet and respect the birds at all times.

Cancellations

Cancellations require a minimum of 5 days notice and may be rescheduled free of charge, subject to availability however will not be refunded. Failure to turn up on the day booked for your experience will invalidate your booking or voucher.

Wren's birds of prey reserves the right to reschedule bookings should the need arise due to weather or any issues with the birds or venue outside of our control. Should this occur, we will inform the client as soon as possible and do our very best offer an alternative date or venue at no extra cost.

Should the client endanger the health and safety of the birds or themselves, during the experience Wren's birds of prey reserve the right to terminate the experience should it be deemed necessary, and will offer no refund .

Vouchers

Vouchers are valid for a 12 month period from the date of purchase and must be booked and taken within the 12 month period. Expired vouchers can be extended for 4 months at a charge of £20 per voucher. Please get in touch before the expiry date to arrange this if required. Vouchers can be used against any experience and upgraded by paying any extra monies if required.

Physical requirements

Hawk walks

Due to the rugged and natural landscape of the woodlands and fields, there is no push chair or wheelchair access or facilities.

Please mention any disabilities or physical restrictions when booking as to allow instructor to plan accordingly.

Wren's birds of prey is licensed to operate from private property and therefore request that clients respect and follow the rules and regulations as follows:

*Any spectators within the group must also be physically able and dressed suitably for the experience and the terrain.

*N0 dogs or other pets allowed

Health and Safety

Wren's birds of prey provides a third party liability insurance for injury to any client for the duration of the experience should they receive injury from the birds through no fault of their own. Insurance does not extend to personal vehicles and clients are responsible for their own property. Wren's birds of prey will not be liable for any injuries or damages as a result of the client not wearing safety equipment provided or not following the suitable clothing recommendations .

It is the responsibility of the client to ensure they act in a safe manner and follow instructions at all times. The client must also be aware that whilst the birds are born and raised in a captive environment, they are essentially wild animals and can exhibit unpredictable behaviour at ant time which could result in an injury during the experience.

Wren"s birds of prey operates a Strictly 'no Stroking or Touching policy' and accepts no liability for injury if those instructions are not followed.

Due to the nature of the experience, it will be with the agreed consent of the client to participate in the field, that they accept responsibility for their own safety, conduct, limitations and personal property. Wren's birds of prey will not accept liability for personal injury or damage as a result of slips, falls, acts of nature [injuries caused by natural flora or fauna, negotiating fencing , stepping into concealed holes, falling branches or windswept debris or any other acts outside the control of Wren's birds of prey] whilst on an experience.

Wren's birds of prey will not be held responsible for events outside of our control which may cause alterations of an experience due to natural causes such as disease outbreaks which may restrict movement, such as Foot and mouth disease, Avian influenza or any outbreak where restrictions are placed recommended by DEFRA or land owners.

All spectators are to abide by the rules and are the responsibility of the client.All children under 18 years of age are to be accompanied by a parent or guardian and are the sole responsibility of those persons.
